Hi there – I’m excited you’re here!

You’re on the first step to demystifying your own mental health – by digging deeper into stuff like nutrition, relationships, life purpose, environment – even the state of your kitchen cupboards!
So much of establishment medicine tells you authoritatively “what the science says” or “what the consensus is” as though those things are written on stone tablets passed down from God.
That’s not how science works. Science is constantly growing, evolving and assimilating new ideas. At The Strong Mind, I help you keep up with all that science, delivered in a way that makes sense, while – and here’s the important bit! – always encouraging you to listen to your own intuition to know what’s truly important and relevant for you.
I believe mental health is so much more than the soup of neurochemicals swimming round our brains.
What’s going on in your life? What are you eating? What feels meaningful? What feels heavy? Which people feel nourishing? Which people feel toxic?
Here, we honor the many different ingredients that contribute to how we feel mentally and emotionally. Some are more “science,” while some are more “art.”
In my weekly newsletter Mind Morsels, I share with you the most informative research on natural mental health in a breezy, readable format.
Sometimes I’ll be talking about food or supplements, sometimes I’ll be talking about a great book I recommend, and sometimes I’ll just be sharing a challenging or intriguing idea about how we can live to best nourish our brain, body and soul. Because those three things are intimately connected!
“Mental Health” has become a heavy subject. Let’s make it fun, while still honoring its serious side.
